Guillaume Lemay's Desk Setup

Guillaume Lemay is a commercial photographer, videographer and editor based in Montréal, Canada. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and worked as a media & content strategist in advertising agencies and companies. But in 2018, he took a bold step — he left his secure full-time marketing job to follow his real passion, becoming a self-employed photographer and videographer. That risk paid off.

Today, Guillaume works as a Videographer at 5S Content (5scontent.com), a content studio that creates stories to turn audiences into communities. At the same time, he also runs his own brand, @ninetytwo.ca, offering commercial photography and videography services.

His interest in desk setups started when he and his fiancée bought their first home. The tech geek inside him woke up, and he knew he needed a home office that was inspiring, productive, and completely clutter-free. That began a journey he now documents on his dedicated tech Instagram @myultimatesetup.

Now Let’s Move Towards His Desk Setup – “Minimal Yet Functional”

Guillaume has kept a small space for his desk setup, but he has set it up in a very beautiful way that not only looks powerful but also gives a super clean and cool look.

He took the Desky Dual Motor Sit-Stand Desk in rubberwood walnut finish. This is the hero foundation of the setup. Its main features are height adjustability and a fully integrated cable management solution. Because of this, not a single wire is visible under the desk — it gives a completely super clean look. And with height adjustability, you can work sometimes standing up, sometimes sitting down.

When you are editing videos in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro, monitor performance + color accuracy matters a lot. Maybe this is the reason why Guillaume chose the Samsung 49″ Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC), which also gives accurate colors for editing and color grading. Guillaume has mounted it with the help of the Desky Heavy Duty Single Monitor Arm.

Keyboard: Keychron K3 Pro – low-profile mechanical, sleek, minimal. Mouse: Logitech MX Master 3S – a favorite of creative professionals. Along with that, the Desky Cork and Felt Desk Pad – which gives the mouse a smooth surface and also gives a premium feel.

Because editing is a time-taking process and often you have to edit the whole day, it is important to keep in mind while selecting things that they should be ergonomic and comfortable. That’s why he took the Desky chair — Desky Pro+ Ergonomic Chair. It has a mesh design, adjustable lumbar support, and headrest, which gives body support during full-day editing.
